The room was unkempt and the service was dismissive. it felt unsettling to settle in. Ultimately left due to inadequate heating during a biting cold night.

Had a great time with friends! We caught a match at St James' Park, and it was an easy walk back to the hotel. The outdoor tennis court was a nice bonus after our busy days. The stay was fun and filled with laughter.

The room was quite cramped and the noise from outside was bothersome. Just be prepared for a small space that might feel a bit crowded.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with awful service and a room that was a far cry from the photos—more like a horror movie! No TV, dirty kettle, and an unwelcoming atmosphere made for a terrible stay.

Vending machine was out of order. Friendly staff and a clean room. Billiards table in the common area was fun.

stayed at grainger for a weekend. the rooms were clean and the location was great, just a short walk from the city center. loved the friendly staff too, they were really helpful. perfect for a fun time with friends!

I appreciated the TV and free Wi-Fi, which worked well during my stay. The shower had great pressure, providing a refreshing start to my day. there were some issues that should be addressed. The room had unclean areas, like dusty surfaces and dirty carpets. Blinds were broken, and there wasn’t a proper mirror in the bathroom. When I spoke to the receptionist about the shower issue, she was rude and dismissive. Another downside was the £10 cash deposit for the key, which felt unnecessary and didn’t add up to the overall experience. The noise from outside was also bothersome, particularly early in the morning.
